Personality:
Arrogant: He’s fully aware that everyone considers him The Strongest and has let it go to his head before. Ever since the day he was born, it was expected he would change the makeup of the jujutsu world. Everyone’s eyes were on him, and he flourished because of it. He considers himself ‘capable of doing anything, therefore committed to doing nothing’. This arrogance has nearly killed him in the past - when he was sixteen, Toji Fushiguro attacked him and managed to cut through all his defenses to deal mortal wounds. He couldn’t prevent this because he couldn’t imagine a world where someone could get the better of him. It was only through sheer force of will that he actually survived and became a better man for it.
Motivated: He has big plans and he has all his life. Though the topic of these plans can change, he’s always brewing up something new in his head. His ideas can become a bit grandiose at times, but he’s still willing to follow them though until the end. He refuses to see failure as an option. To him, it’s something only the weak do, and he is not anywhere close to weak.
Cunning: He’s willing to go behind the backs of others to get done what he judges as necessary. Some of his plans are more long term - for example, becoming a teacher to make sure the next generation becomes at least as strong as he is and can therefore help take down the administration he so loathes. Some of them are more short term - like sending two of his students into a dangerous situation where he knew they’d get hurt, because he felt it would motivate another of his students to grow stronger. Either way, he gets done what needs to be done, but do the ends really justify the means?
Assertive: He always stands strong for what he believes in and makes sure that everyone knows what his opinion is. This has been witnessed multiple times throughout canon, for example when he fights for Yuuji to not be immediately executed. He threw his weight and opinion into the might of the higher ups and won through sheer will. He doesn’t believe in backing down, even if the course is dangerous. That’s just a sign of being weak in his mind.
Careless: He doesn’t always think things through outside of battle. He’s so concerned with keeping up his own self identity that he doesn’t exactly pay attention to other people’s feelings, except when they’re shoved in his face. He can also be this way about the safety of others, something that started when he was young. He’s tried his best to change, but a part of him still believes that if you’re weak, you don’t deserve to be protected. So if someone registers as weak on his radar, he doesn’t put as much effort into caring for them or their safety.
Suitability: He would stick around because he wants to figure out what’s going on and how he got there. He won’t believe that the ADI has no clue how it’s happening and will pretty much think they’re the masterminds behind it all. He subscribes to the sort of theory that you keep your enemies closer, so he’ll play along with them for now. But in the meantime, he’ll be trying to learn everything he can about the organization and the people who serve it. He also thinks that he should play it safe there because they’ve obviously had some sort of effect on his powers and someone who is capable of that should be respected and thoroughly investigated.
Powers/Abilities: I’ve created a post about them here.
Entity Affinity:The Extinction. Being the strongest of his kind, he terrifies both the enemy and ally alike. He’s a sign of evolution into something new and with his birth, amounts of cursed energy in the world increased. Both curses and sorcerers became stronger because of this and things will never be the same
Inventory: He pretty much just has his clothes and his blindfold. As he doesn’t use weapons, he didn’t have any on his person. He generally keeps his sunglasses in his pocket, so while it wasn’t indicated that they were there, it’s likely that they were.
